Hyperspace epic upgrade#
Note: There is no upgrade or migration supported from the existing RSA Integration with Hyperspace to the new RSA Agent for Hyperdrive. RSA has an existing integration with Epic Hyperspace with RSA Authentication Manager. When user tries to login or approve a workflow in Epic Hyperdrive, the Authentication Agent communicates with the Authentication Manager in the network to manage authentication.

The Authentication Agent is installed on Windows computer running Hyperdrive client. As Epic is transitioning from Hyperspace to Hyperdrive, customers need to deploy this new Agent for Epic Hyperdrive to secure login and/or workflow that requires step-up authentication. RSA® Authentication Agent 1.0 for Epic Hyperdrive, built on REST based protocol provides stronger multi-factor authentication options to Epic Hyperdrive users. With this transition, code-level changes are required for current web- and desktop-based Hyperspace integrations.
